Seed Crackers
These tasty crackers are so easy and so nutritious! They make the perfect mid-morning snack topped with your favourite toppings. I love avocado, ricotta and pepper.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1/4 cup pepitas
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup cold water
- pinch of salt
METHOD
1. Pre-heat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and leave to sit for 10 minutes
3. Place a piece of baking paper on a large baking tray and pour the seed mixture on top. Place another piece of baking paper on top of the mixture and use a rolling pin to roll out flat.
4. Remove the top layer of baking paper and bake the crackers in the oven for 45-60 minutes. If you prefer your crackers cut perfectly, remove from the oven after 30 minutes, cut them up and place them back in the oven until they become hard and crunchy.
